Pop-Up Card

This is a pop-up card I made for a challenge for one of the Yahoo groups I belong to.  You can find the directions for making one here (Splitcoast).  Written directions with photos and a video are both available.

Surprisingly these cards are not difficult to make and are so much fun when finished!  I'm easily entertained, but I do like cards you can play with!

Before I get into the list of supplies used for this card, let me point out a few things.  The blooms were "stamped" twice, the second set cut out and mounted onto the first with dimensionals.  I actually applied the ink to the flowers with sponge daubers.  The stems were colored with markers.

The image piece was spritzed with Log Cabin Smooch Spritz before being layered onto the larger layering tags.

I added the ribbons before taping the base together, as it was easier for me to get them wrapped and  tied.  I also added the Hodgepodge  Hardware frame before taping as well, again it was easier for me to do so.  The die cut grass was added after the whole thing was taped and the tag was popped out.  That way I could get it placed just in the right spot!

The entire piece will collapse and fit into an envelope!

Pop-Up Card:
Stamps:  Inspired By Nature,  Because I Care, Tiny Tags
Paper:  Early Espresso, Crumb cake, Very Vanilla, Always Artichoke
Ink:  Early Espresso, More Mustard, Always Artichoke
Misc:  Antique Brass Hodgepodge Hardware, corner rounder, dimensionals, oval punch, safety pin, Sizzix grass die, Smooch Spritz: Log Cabin, sponge daubers, Jewelry Tag punch, twill, ribbon
 Off to stamp some more!
