Challenge 21- Boo Are You - Spooky and/or black/orange color theme . Time to get spooky! Break out the Halloween papers, stamps, embellies! If however, Halloween is not your cup of tea, feel free to use black and orange in another way! ( you can use other colors along with black and orange too)
I had this idea to stamp the spooky tree (SU) directly onto DSP (SU) so it looked like the night sky was filled with flying bats. Then I "found" another patterned paper of bats in my stash and used that for the left panel and the scalloped oval. I embellished this quick card with a metal bat, of course, (only one of these left - a hoarder's worst nightmare! Time to panic!) and a rhinestone spider. (Ooh, the song "Rhinestone Cowboy" just popped into my head! Who knows where my mind will wander when writing up blog posts!)
I'm trying something new in the organizing department. I have a largish Halloween tin, that I think once contained popcorn or something. Anyhow, it was empty and clean, so I put all of my Halloween related embellishments, ribbons, small,clear stamp sets, etc. in, so that I have it all together in one container. If this seems to work well, I'll do the same with some of my other holiday themes.
Off to stamp some more!

Great card, I love the little bat and didn't even notice the spider from the DT blog. LOVE your organizational idea too and will definitely be stealing it!! Great idea and makes things so much easier to find too.

Too cute. I have all my Halloween stuff in a separate case too, and one for Christmas. So far I like it Great card!
