Language of Friendship

I've been participating in the challenges at SCS this week and enjoying every one of them.   This card is for today's sketch challenge: SC374.  I used four pieces of DSP  to layer onto a Soft Suede background and a Crumb Cake base.  For the main images I stamped the bird, branch and flowers from the set "Language of Friendship" onto more scraps and used coordinating punches to punch out the pieces.   The bird's eye was made a little brighter by dotting it with a black glaze pen.  The flowers and leaves are popped up with dimensionals and extend beyond the edge of the Nestibilities ovals.

Off to stamp some more!

Paige, did this take you a long time to make? It looks like it. All of the extra touches are so well coordinated and come together so very well. This is one of my favorite sets and you have really done it justice!

This is great, even with the layers it still has that CAS look so that cute little bird gets to shine in front of the clouds. You did a great job, layers scare me....

Paige, this is ever so cute! What a sweet and lovely card - and a beautiful layout to show case the bird with the perfect background paper. I love HDT quotes and this one is just perfect for your card! Lovely rich, vibrant colors. Nice to "meet" you in the Stamp Addict group!
