Make it Masculine

Masculine colors or theme, or anything for a boy or with a boy theme is our challenge this week at Shopping Our Stash.  With four men in the family, I'm often in need of masculine cards.

For this card I used quite a bit of stash, namely several scraps of patterned papers from SU called: "Spring Showers".  The image is also from SU, an oldie but goodie called: "Wonderful Woodcuts".

The awesome background on this card was inspired by the card seen here, discovered by reading a recent thread at Splitcoast on this starburst technique.  You can find more info and additional links for the technique here.

Off to stamp some more!

Tee hee When I tried the sunburst technique for one om my VSN cards I put the sun's rays on UPSIDE DOWN! No wonder it looked like a crown.

(I need a keeper)

You rocked this one Paige! Love the layout idea, will be borrowing it for sure. Your color scheme is spot-on for a masculine card. Great job.

Fantastic guy card! The 'sunburst' looks like beams of light from the lighthouse and goes perfectly with this image! Love the layered ribbon too!
