Whap! Here is our next photo to inspire you for the challenge at {PIN}spirational Challenges. I took the colors red/yellow/and black from this photo for my card this week.
I really wanted to use my chevron punch from EK for this card and use black and yellow card stock for the main panel. Then I had the idea of adding red to the mix and immediately thought of ladybugs. I added the daisies to brighten things up a bit and here you have it! The sentiment is from Paper Smooches in their Sentiment Sampler set.
I had a "doh" moment when making this card. Very carefully I found the center of the short edge of the card and glued down the first punched strip. Then I very carefully glued down the next strip below that one. I had planned on putting the last strip above the middle one, but alas my mind wandered off and it was glued in place below the second strip - whap!

I am loving everything about this card. Good grief Charlie brown. It is awesome!
LOVE it! Great use of the zigzags to mimic the shirt!! The daisies and ladybugs look great on here too! LOL on the placement! It looks great like this and gives more space at the top for the sentiment! Just call it one of those happy accidents in creativity!

I actually like that the three chevrons are in the bottom part of the card instead of centered, but yeah, this is totally something I would have done.
