SSC68: XOXO

Sunday Stamps is offering "A Sweet Sketch" for their challenge this week.  Here is the card I made:

My card base and banner are Riding Hood Red.  I used a spellbinders die called Fanciful Lattice to cut the white piece behind the red banner.  I just trimmed off the top of the rectangle and the bottom is covered by the longer red banner.  This panel is popped up with foam tape.  The focal image and sentiment are from The Stamps of Life: sampler2love and I used the matching dies to cut out both pieces.  The image is also popped up with foam tape.  I love how the background of the image mimics the die cut design!  Serendipitous!  The sentiment banner is embellished with an epoxy brad and a single red rhinestone embellishes the image.

For the inside of the card I used the Spellbinders die again to make a panel for writing a message on.  The XOXO image is from the same Stamps of life stamp set.  All the stamps were stamped with SU's cherry Cobbler. I was going it use my Riding hood Red ink pad, but it has a weird gold sheen on it and the ink wasn't stamping true to color.

 Thanks for looking!

Off to create some more!
