The Hambo Hoedown challenge is to use scoring tools to create lines and designs on your card. I believe this is the first time I've used my Scor Pal for anything other than scoring the center fold in a card or for making a box/bag. Gasp! But I moved forward and created border lines along all four edges and also some diagonal lines near the four corners of the image panel.
Speaking of the image, the geranium digi was free to those who played last week and followed the rules. If you need the image you can get it here. And believe me you want this image! Look at my coloring! It looks like I know what I'm doing with my Copics. So easy to color in! I got some awesomely helpful tips from Jan's Copic tutorials here! She made me look good using her tutorial and this image! Thanks Jan!
I can't make a card without embellishments, but wanted to keep this one CAS. I cut the image and it's mat with a spellbinders label die, and popped this on top of a strip of sheer ribbon. In the four corners created by the score lines I added bright red rhinestone brads.
Off to stamp some more!
