Reverse Gatefold: Birdcage

I saw a reverse gatefold card on Pinterest and it led me to Karen's Kreative Kards  where she give measurements and directions.  Here is my version.  I'll show another version in a post tomorrow, so please come back and see!

This is the front of the card when it is closed:

I used stamps. card stock, and patterned papers from Gina K's Stamp TV Kit: Shabby Spring

These reverse gatefold cards are fun to make!  Please come back tomorrow when I post a different version of this card.

Vintage Easter ATCs

I entered a challenge on You Tube to make Easter ATCs.  I used some vintage images from a Tim Holtz Seasonal paper pad.  Two of each image were used so I could cut one apart and pop up the pieces with dimensionals onto the other full sized image.

For the ATC on the left I cut out the egg shape and popped it up.  Flower soft was used to create grass and add dark and light colored "flowers".  The sentiment was punched from the scraps of pair of ATCs  the other and popped up as well.  I used a Wink of Stella brush marker to add some shimmer to the edges of the tiny tag and egg.  Brushed gold metallic paper, Perfect Plum card stock and lavender  Stardream card stock form the layers and base of the ATC.

For the second ATC I fussy cut the four bunnies from the second image and popped them up with dimensionals.  Ultra fine Flower Soft was used for the grass.  Wink of Stella was used on the pink egg behind the momma bunny.  rose Red card stock, brushed gold metallic paper and Stardream card stock in deep purple were used as layers and the base.

On both ATCs I added the layers and images at a whimsical angle.

Good As Gold

I used the free SU SAB kit "Good As Gold" to create these two cards:

Rather than making the smaller sized cards from the kit, I took one card base and cut it into two pieces.  Then each of these pieces were layered onto Tangerine Tango and Bermuda Bay card stock and then onto Sahara Sand card bases.  Other than that change, I followed the directions to complete the cards. I added a rhinestone to the star cut out on the shiny gold banner.  I made several of these cards and wrote a message in each one.  These will be donated to a woman on You Tube who is gathering cards for Hospice volunteers in April.

Pop-Up Accordion Card

Following a tutorial on Splitcoaststampers here, I made a pop-up accordion card for a card exchange.

Here is the front:

I started with a kraft corrugated card base and used patterned papers from Authentique: Summer.  The stamped images are from Stamps of Life.

Here is the pop-up:

The shimmery hexagon background was the result of using a SOL background stamp with VersaMark and Pearl Ex powder in Brilliant Yellow.

Here are close-ups of the three pop-up layers:

OWH Cards

A friend on You Tube is collecting cards for Operation Write Home, so I made a dozen cards to send her, three each of four designs.  Here are the fronts and inside left of each version:
