Conversation Heart Blueprint

I'm on week 2 of the SCS Challenge Use It 2015.   I'm going to showcase the four cards I made using the Stampers Anonymous set called Valentine Blueprint, a Tim Holtz collection, for the next few days.  here is card number one featuring a conversation heart blueprint.

The image is stamped onto Crumb Cake card stock and layered onto Riding Hood Red card stock from SU.  This is popped up with foam tape onto a Sahara Sand card base.  I used a punched border (you'll see it in the next photo) and used it as a stencil to make the red tab on the right side of the image.  A strip of patterned paper (source unknown) runs across the top of the card .

Here is the inside:

On the inside of the card I used a strip of the same patterned paper and the punches border that I used as a stencil with Fired Brick distress ink.

Purrfect in Red and Blue

I needed a few more cat themed cards for my friends in the Crazy for Cats Card Club.   I made two versions of this card design, one in red and the other in blue.  The image is from SU, colored with Copics, and the papers are misc scraps from my stash.

Cupid's Arrow Circle Flip-it

This is the last of the cards I made last week for the Use It 2015 Challenge at Splitcoaststampers .  I'll be choosing a new stamp set to play with this week. But let's take a look at card number three from last week.

This card uses some newer stash and older stash. I'll show the inside and then explain in more detail.

Newer stash: SU: Stacked With Love DSP
Older stash: stamps from Wplus9: Cupid's Arrow with matching dies and Banner Love also from Wplus9.
On-going stash: card stock: PTI: white, SU: Real Red, Sizzix circle Flip-its die
Misc: heart rhinestones from Dollar Tree, clear glitter gel pen (on the word love in the banner but it didn't show up in this photo)

The red scalloped circle is actually popped up with foam tape and the image is stamped on the white circle.

Love You More Square Flip-it

I've been using my Sizzix Flip-its dies a lot lately and since they were out on my stamping table I decided to use them once again.  This is another weekly card for the Use It 2015 Challenge at Splitocoaststampers.

This is the front of the card and below is the inside.  Then I will tell you more about this card.

I added an extended panel to this card, although in this photo the extra panel is tucked behind on the right side, for ease of taking a photo.   Here are some specifics about this card:

Stamps:  Wplus9: Love You More
Paper:  card stock: PTI white, SU: Real Red, patterned paper source is unknown
Ink:  Versafine
Misc:  Sizzix Square Flip-its die, musical note stickers from Jolee's Boutique, heart rhinestones from  Dollar Tree

Love You More

I joined in on the Use It 2015 Challenge over at Splitcoaststampers .  We are a group of stampers who have challenged ourselves to use stamps that have never seen ink or stamps that haven't seen ink in a very long time.  Some of us are also challenging ourselves to use other items from our stash that have been long neglected.  Many of us are taking a stamp set or more a week and making X amount of cards with the set.  Each person sets their own goals and we have a special section in the SCS gallery to upload our cards.  I got lost and am starting late so I'm jumping in with the cards I'm showing for the next few days.  Let's take a look at the card and then I'll give some specifics.

I used a sketch from OWH for this card. (I love their sketches, as they give exact measurements which makes it so easy to quickly put a card together!)  The main image on this card was stamped on a coin envelope, which just happens to be the perfect size for a gift card!  Here is what I used for this card:

Stamps: Wplus9: Love You More
Paper:  card stock: SU: Taken With Teal and Real Red; patterned paper: Jillibean-Soup
Ink: Versafine: black
Misc:  coin envelope, heart rhinestones from The Dollar Tree

Pretty in Pink and Gray

Here are the last two cards made from The Stamps of Life December card kit.  These two cards are my favorites.  I love the pretty pink card stock that was included in the kit and also the pretty gray and white patterned papers.  And the embellishments are fabulous!  I so wanted to hoard them all, but I forced myself to use a few and I think they look perfect on these cards!

I'm going to enter this card in the Come and Get It Challenge, which is to use ribbon or bows.

My Guest Designer Gig for...

...Challenge #26 for Sisterhood of Snarky StampersWoohoo!

(Sisterhood of the Snarky Stampers: Our Motto: Snark if necessary, but not necessarily snarky!)

For their First Anniversary challenge it's Snarker's Choice!  Pick one of their past challenges and make a new card or project using it.  I chose Challenge #4;  F is for...Fancy Folds!  I made a tri-shutter card with the help of a Sizzix Bigz Pro die.  I also got some help from a paper pad by Recollections called "Not Too Serious" for some snarky fun!  Patterned papers from a Pebbles pad called Birthday Wishes provided the bright happy colors.  And finally 3D shaker stickers are the frosting on the cake, so to speak!  Check it out!

Lots of Love

I have three more cards that I made using The Stamps of Life December Card Kit to share with you.

The sequins and flower topped pins were not part of the kit, but I thought they worked perfectly on this card!

The gray XOXO is adhered directly to the paper, the pink one has one layer of foam tape and the red has two layers of foam tape.

I love the little die cut keys tied to the heart locket.  Both of these die cuts are from the die set "heartlocket2love" from TSOL.

Spirograph or Doily?

One of the patterned papers in The Stamps of Life "lovestory4kitclub" reminds me of a Spirograph design or maybe a doily!  I used this patterned paper on these two cards:

This card features die cuts from the two sets of dies that came in the kit.  One is the "love" die with a coordinating shadow die.  The other is the heart button dies. I cut each size three times and glued them together.  I then put glossy accents on the top, so they would resemble real buttons.  i used black and white twine from a previous kit to tie a bow in the button holes.

I used punches to cut out the patterned circles and layers. I used glossy accents on the little red hearts to give them some shine and dimension.
