Flower Burst

Today's card is the one I made for the 11/15 color challenge at The Outlawz.

I used a Sizzix Flower Burst embossing folder on some pink card stock.  i also used some metallic gold card stock, gold glitter dot stickers and Dried Marigold Distress Ink.  I didn't add a sentiment as I'm not sure how I will be using this card; keeping my options open as needed.

Heart Square Frame

For the sketch challenge this week at The Outlawz I used a Spellbinders heart square frame die to frame the focal elements of my card.   The sentiment is a die cut using white glitter paper. I built up the sentiment by layering the glittered "love" onto two layers of plain white die cuts.  The embellishments are tiny wood die cut hearts that I purchased at a Hobby Lobby some time ago.  The finished card is a 5 inch top fold square.

The Magic of Christmas: Believe

I pulled out a Stamps of Life stamp set: santa2stamp to use for a challenge card at The Outlawz.   I stamped the Santa face once each onto pink and red card stock and twice onto white card stock.  After lots of fussy cutting I began to layer and paper piece the parts.  I wanted the white areas to sparkle so I used some Folk Art Hologram acrylic paint.  I used washi tape behind the popped up Santa head and the Believe sentiment is a die cut from a SOL die with black glitter paper.  Here is the result:

3 Faces of Eve

I used a Stamp Oasis image for my challenge card at The Outlawz.  The theme was family gathering and I had a heck of a time finding a stamp in my collection to fit the theme.   So I settled for this one.  I colored the flowers with Copics and some were stamped out a second time, fussy cut and popped up with foam tape.  I added some bling to the centers of all the flowers.

Got Soup?

This "Get Well" card  was for a challenge at The Outlawz.  I used the Nov. stamp club set from Maymay Made It for the mug image and a SU Paper Pumpkin set for the sentiment and "steam".  The papers are from a Paper Studio pad.  I added glossy accents to the "soup" in the mug.

Be Jolly!

I'm having fun using my new sentiment stamps and matching dies from Lawn Fawn.   I paired "be jolly" with the sketch challenge for 11/9 at The Outlawz.  I also used some Holiday Glassine paper from Craft Smith (purchased a couple of years ago) and some melted Perler beads.  The medallion is a faux metal rimmed sticker layered onto three sizes of circle punch outs.

Oh Joy!

This card was made for the color challenge over at The Outlawz.  The twist was to use a snowflake in your creation.   I used some glittered confetti from WalMart and a snowflake embossing folder:

The sentiment was stamped and die cut using the matching stamps/dies from Lawn Fawn.
The snowflakes are arranged on a lacy circle which is a die from Gina Marie.

The Magic of You

The CAS challenge at The Outlawz for Nov 6 is to use a "mythical" image.  I had to dig deep into the stamp drawers to find something I could use.  This image is from Rubber Stampede.

I used a lot of subtle and not so subtle shimmer on this card:

DCWV Glitzy Glitter paper
Glitter dots
Delicata Silvery Shimmer ink pad with a SU texture stamp from Timeless Textiles
Sheer Shimmer Sparkle Spritz
textured glitter tape.

Is It a Tag or Is It a Card?

This creation looks like a tag, but it's really a card!  I traced a Prima tag onto folded card stock to create a tag shaped card.  The inside isn't quite finished yet, but it will be a birthday card.  I plan to make 4 more very similar to this one to complete a birthday card challenge with Peggy, a dear friend I made on You Tube.

Products used:
Prima Lyric patterned paper
Chipboard stickers
small black and white pearls
misc paper ribbons
white grosgrain ribbon
baker's twine
white card stock

2 Christmas Cards

I made two very different Christmas cards.  Both were made for challenges at The Outlawz.  One challenge was to use nontraditional colors and the other was for a sketch challenge.  Check them out!

I'm pleased with both, but let me know your favorite!
