ATCs for a Swap on SCS

I joined a swap on Splitcoaststampers to make ATCs.  I decided to go all out and sign up for all four categories:  craft/hobby, Nov/Dec, masculine and mason jars .  We were to make three of each and will get three back.  The fourth one is for the hostess.  Fun times and looking forward to seeing what the others have created!

ATC Swap at SCS

It's been awhile since I joined in on an ATC swap over at Splitcoaststampers, so I decided the time was right.  I joined all four categories and why not?!!  Here are the ATCs I'll be mailing in next week, four of each design:

Some details of each ATC:
Autumn Wishes:  I used a napkin for the background and layered on some burlap trim.  The leaf sprig is a die cut from metal tape.  I sponged the tape with alcohol inks before cutting.
One Cup at a Time:  I used several stamp sets for this one.  Cup and steam - SU Paper Pumpkin kit; Beans - Paper Smooches; Sentiment - Maymay Made It.  I added glossy accents to one cluster of beans.
Holiday Post:  This ATC was made from an old (2012) Hero Arts Card Kit.  I decided it was time to use it or lose it!  The gold ink splotch is from SU Gorgeous Grunge with Delicata Golden Glitz ink.
Dream:  I used Mariposa paper from DCWV that was splattered with some FSJ Dark Roast Silk.  I pulled from my stash a metal corner and a flattened bottle cap.  I added a butterfly to the bottle cap and placed in atop some burlap trim.

Pop-Up Holiday Gift Card Holder

Long time, no posting!  Not sure if anybody is still around, but here goes!

I made 6 identical gift card holders for a swap over at Splitcoaststampers.  I'm getting into swaps again as a way to encourage myself to use what's in my stash/collection.

Here is the front:

I used this perky red and white diagonal striped card stock from Teresa Collins' Candy Cane Lane Collection.  The tree is a die cut from Spellbinders and the stamped sentiment is from Elizabeth Craft Designs/Karen Burniston Merry and Bright stamp set.  I embellished the tree with clear rhinestones and a clear gel pen.  The tree is popped up with foam dots.  The bows on the packages are from a die set also from ECD/KB called Sleigh Gift Card Holder Pop-Up.  You'll see more from that die set in the next photo.  The tree skirt is layered oval punches from SU.  I kept the front of the card fairly simple, but the big reveal is on the inside of the card!

 TA DA!

The pop-up mechanism, sleigh, packages, and bow are from the die set.  The sentiment is from the same stamp set used on the front of the card.  Rudy the Reindeer is a die set from ECD/KB.  Isn't he cute!?!  The polka dot piece is just to let the recipients know where to place the gift card.  The die actually cuts two tab pieces to hold a gift card in place!  The snowflake border at the bottom edge of the card is a die from Darice (I think!) and I covered the snowflakes with a thin layer of Crystal Stickles.

TSOL All The Way!

Sorry for the glare.  Pocket Letters are really difficult to photograph.  I made two of these, just rearranged the cards in the pockets for the second one.  Both were for swaps; one on You Tube and the other for a Facebook group.  All of the papers, stamped images, and dies were from various sets and kits from The Stamps of Life.  I love the bright colors and cute images!

Two Challenge Cards for The Outlawz

It's been awhile since I had the time to make cards for the challenges over at The Outlawz.  But I wanted to start the New Year fitting in the challenges again. So I made a card for CAS Sunday with a "sparkle" theme and for Greeting Monday with a theme being "Something New".

Here are my two cards:

I used a subtle glitter paper for the inlaid snowflake as well as the layer under the image panel.  The "merry" die cut gives off a bit of sparkle as well from the silver metallic paper.

For this next card my something new was a sentiment from anew stamp set that a dear friend sent me for Christmas.   This card would have fit in for the sparkle challenge as well!
